For those of you not getting
any sound try these steps:
1. Make sure both
radios are turned powered on with more then half
battery power.
2. Make sure the radios
are on the same channel and subchannel (See your radio
owners manual for instructions).
3. Make sure you are
not out of range of the other radio or obstructed by
other objects.
4. You may have a "Hot
Mic". This is when the mic will continually
transmit. Make sure the radio is off when you plug
in the adapter (if necessary) and the throat mic.

our Compatibility list to see if it is compatible.
5. If your throat mic has a sound
tube, check the tube, elbow, and ear piece to make sure
they are free of any obstructions.
